Qvar Inhaler (Beclomethasone Dipropionate)
QVAR inhaler (beclomethasone dipropionate) is a prescription inhaler that can be used to reduce the severity of acute asthma exacerbations. QVAR may also be used off-label for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). QVAR is not a rescue inhaler and cannot be used to treat acute bronchospasm. Acute bronchospasm should be treated by a rescue inhaler like albuterol.
