Tirosint (Levothyroxine Sodium)
If your thyroid has stopped producing enough hormones to keep your metabolism running smoothly, there is definitely cause for concern. Your doctor may recommend testing before prescribing medication if you are exhibiting symptoms such as weight increase, fatigue, dry skin and hair, constipation, or depression. A simple blood test will measure the amount of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in your blood. Before Taking Tirosint
Ask your doctor about any health concerns you should be aware of when taking Tirosint while you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breast feeding. Discuss other medical conditions or allergies you have and tell your doctor about any OTC or Rx drugs you take, including herbal remedies and dietary or vitamin supplements so it can be determined if you can safely take Tirosint.
